El passat divendres 4 de març vam anar a la sala CORDOVA per veure l’exposició Eyes jr. de les artistes Ellie Hunter i Anni Puolakka. La Natalia la va escollir perquè tenia molt a veure amb el nostre globus. Una estructura feta amb tela i plena d’aire com la nostra. Es podia entrar. L’espai interior era molt acollidor, a causa de la llum natural i els colors de la tela, també es movia com el nostre. A dins hi havia un monitor i un vídeo que feia referència a la figura de la mare.
En general ens va agradar el lloc i l’ exposició. Vam veure que a vegades diferents persones o artistes que treballen a diferents llocs del món arriben a crear coses molt similars.
“I remember you saying once that you wanted to live inside as many bodies as possible, Mother, not just the five bodies that came from your belly. Art is a non-linear form of reproduction, moving forwards and backwards in time. I want to be part of something like that. I want to be pregnant with your legacy, Mother. To decompose and birth you with the others. Maybe then we wouldn’t all be so lonely.”
Eyes Jr. is an exhibition featuring individual and collaborative works from artists Ellie Hunter and Anni Puolakka.
